Assignments for October

  1. Create a Twitter account and follow 10 new people. (You can also follow Olivia @oklivlife, Ann @annws, Ashley @teachingmissk, and Gratia Countryman @mnlibhistory – and you should – but choose 10 beyond us) Do not follow 10 people all at once, if you are a new account. It will block you. Follow 2 a day for 5 days.
  2. Tweet an idea on incorporating social media into education and/or curriculum
  3. Subscribe to a new podcast.

Blog Assignments for October

  1. Write a reflection on the videos, our October class, and be sure to include your thoughts on RSS, social media, digital literacy, podcasting, and/or your thoughts on the rapid changes in technology. Be sure and include your Twitter handle in your blog post.
  2. For your article this month, choose one from a blogger you now follow (or a YouTube Channel or an article from someone you follow on Twitter or FB or Pinterest), link the article in your blog and discuss the content.
